Male Quarian by BlatantFlamboyance Male Quarian by BlatantFlamboyance
This is my Quarian cos-play which I lovingly named, " Jal' Darej Nar Chaelym Vas Orrehn". This debuted at Gencon 2011 and was in the costume contest. It took around 3-5 months to make, and is the first I've ever done. I wanted to show that the Male Quarian Cosplay from Mass Effect 2 could be done well.

That's pretty badass for your first build. How did you do the helmet?

Thank you very much! And as for the helmet, I simply drew templates and cut them out of the foam. With a little hot glue and the heat gun, it can fully into shape.

Well, I used foam tiles and cut them into their shapes with a dremel rotary tool :3 For the visor, I used clear plastic that I bought at Hobby Lobby :3 Let me know if you need more help! I'm always up for helping a fellow Quarian.

Yeah, Michael's will have it... but also remember, to bend the foam, you'll need a heat source strong enough to make it bend (like a paint stripper). Straps are also very helpful xD

If I ever find a way to mass produce these things, I'd be happy to provide one ^^ Always looking for more Quarians!
